The story of Superformance, from performance parts to complete car builds.

Superformance began in 1978, founded by two families with a passion for V8 performance. What started as a small parts store supplying engine components, 9-inch diffs, and gearboxes quickly became a trusted name in the Australian car community.

 In 2005, the business was purchased by Grant, who injected a new vision and energy to the brand. Under his leadership, Superformance evolved into a fully integrated operation, with a modern showroom, mechanical workshop, panel and paint division, and built a new eCommerce store.

In 2023, the next generation stepped in, with Todd, Gran t’s son, proudly purchasing the business and keep it in the family. With the same passion and drive, Todd is leading Superformance into its next era of growth, while staying true to the roots that made it a household name in the performance world. 

Today Superformance continues to make a name for themselves as one of Australia’s premium car builders, featuring on the 7 Mates’ TV show Rides Down Under, Workshop Wars. The team continue to support customers to build their dream with their direct import capabilities of only the best quality performance brands. While specialising in supplying complete driveline packages, supply and install of 4link suspension components to suit a wide range vehicles. As well as offering a variety of 9" Diff modifications, bolt-in replacements and custom designed for your specific requirements.
