Since 1978 Superformance has been a leading name in automotive excellence. For over 40+ years, we've been building some of Australia's most recognised custom vehicles in Australia. From hot rods, muscle cars, street rods, classic American vehicles, and everything in between. Every build leaves our Capalaba workshop to the highest quality, built by an experienced and passionate team of qualified specialists.

We manage every stage of the build from that first conversation to handover. You have a dedicated point of contact with a high quality standard of craftsmanship applied throughout. Majority of all works are carried out in our Capalaba workshop by our own team: fabrication, paint and panel, engine assembly, driveline install, suspension, wiring, engineering and commissioning. Where specialist trades are required for example; sandblasting, upholstery and glass, we manage only trusted contractors as part of the build. Your point of contact remains the same!

Chassis mods, sheet metal, custom panels, brackets, and anything that doesn't exist off the shelf.

Complete Driveline Upgrades

From mild carb'd V8s to big-block monsters and LS swaps. Upgraded transmissions, gearbox, tailshaft with matched fuel and cooling systems to suit the power and capability of your upgrade.

Paint & Panel

In-house spray booth. Show-quality finishes. Custom colours, pearl, candy, stencil and bare-metal work.

Ford 9 Inch Differential Specialist

Custom in-house diff builds matched to your power level.

Suspension & Handling

Our IFS kits are engineered in-house and replace beam-axle front ends delivering modern steering geometry, disc brake capability, and alignment that can actually be set. Rear suspension is matched to the build: four-link, airbag, or coilover depending on the application. Corner weights, castor, camber, and toe are set properly before the vehicle leaves.

Wiring & Electrical

Full custom wiring looms, modern electrical integration, and EFI systems installed cleanly.

Mechanical

Fuel, brake, cooling, and steering systems built and plumbed to suit the power level and intended use.
