Aftermarket Performance and Classic Carburettors

As the market changed, so did the carbs used. Before four-barrels, hot rodders were bolting Stromberg 97s and Holley 94s to their flatheads – and after the four-barrel’s revolutionary debut in the 1950s, four-barrel brands like Edelbrock and Holley began to crank out carburettors of increasing size, performance, quality and efficiency.

Carburettors or fuel injection?

While modern vehicles have mainly moved to the more efficient automated fuel injection, many older models and performance rides use mechanical carburettors for their superior flow, durability under load, and tuning capability.

Aftermarket units have all the grunt and grit you need to reach your goals. Many aftermarket carburettors are more or less ready to go straight from the factory thanks to precision manufacturing practices.
