As one of the early developers of aftermarket suspension, founder Gary Heidt’s started the company in 1985 his 700 square foot garage. HEIDTS has grown over the last 40 years, now occupying a modern 50,000 square foot facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois and becoming an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of front and rear suspension
for classic American street rods and muscle cars.

The business is built on engineering excellence, quality products and fast, friendly service. Heidts are proud to have one of the most experienced sales and engineering staff in the industry and frequently test our products on our own fleet of hot rods and muscle cars, often competing in autocross and road course competitions.
